Sherry Sylvester Show: Digging into Texas’ $338 Billion Budget w/ Comptroller Don Huffines

Texas Comptroller Don Huffines is my latest guest on The Sherry Sylvester Show.

Earlier this year, Don launched his campaign for comptroller, defeating two statewide officeholders in a four-way Republican primary with nearly 60% of the vote. Gov. Greg Abbott appointed him to take office on August 1 after the previous comptroller stepped down.

As Texas’ chief financial officer, Don is overseeing the implementation of the state’s new Education Savings Accounts program and digging into the details of Texas’ $338 billion budget. His message has long been that government should spend less, tax less, and get out of the way of the people who create jobs and drive the economy.

You won’t want to miss what he has to say.
